Occupational Health & Safety At Work Policy Statement

It is the Policy of Paul McGrogan Contracts Ltd to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable and through the philosophy of continuous improvement, the Health, Safety and Welfare of all its employees and all others who may be affected by its undertakings.

Our Company will comply with the statutory duties contained within the Health and Safety at Work (NI) Order 1978, the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (NI) 2016 and all other relevant legislation and approved codes of practice. Our Company is committed to ensuring that its health and safety management systems are to the highest standards, appropriately resourced, and integrated with the day-to-day work undertaken by its employees. Paul McGrogan Contracts Ltd is committed to providing safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health, appropriate to its purpose, size and context and to the specific nature of its OH&S risks and OH&S opportunities. Our company is committed to eliminating hazards and reducing OH&S risks.

All employees are required to be completely familiar with and understand all procedures within these health and safety systems, which are relevant to their duties and responsibilities. They must follow and comply with the requirements of all such procedures.

Paul McGrogan Contracts Ltd will ensure that subcontractors used by the Company will be fully aware of this policy and of their individual health and safety obligations. Paul McGrogan Contracts Ltd will establish, implement and maintain procedures for ongoing hazard identification, risk assessment of potential hazards and evaluation of risks. The Company shall develop and implement where necessary control measures. These will be deemed to cover routine and non-routine activities and include the activities of personnel having access to and egress from all Sites, including Contractors and Visitors.

This policy statement and associated organisation and arrangements must be brought to the attention of all staff.
