Killyfad, New Build House
Scope of Works
New build 4,000sqft houseProject Overview
This project involved the construction of a striking 4,000sq.ft. contemporary new build residence, completed over a 12-month construction programme. Designed with a strong focus on modern architecture and sustainability, the property was carefully crafted to complement and blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings while delivering a high specification family home.
The external design combined natural stone cladding, timber cladding, and rendered finishes, creating a visually distinctive appearance that balances modern aesthetics with the surrounding landscape. The use of contrasting materials and clean architectural lines resulted in a contemporary home with a strong connection to its environment.
Internally, the property features a split-level floor design, enhancing the sense of space and creating a dynamic living environment. A polished concrete floor finish was incorporated throughout key living areas, providing a sleek, modern aesthetic while complementing the home's energy-efficient heating system.
Sustainability was a key element of the project, with underfloor heating installed throughout the property and powered by a ground source heat pump system. This renewable energy solution provides efficient, low-carbon heating and contributes to the home's long-term energy performance.
Through careful planning, technical coordination, and attention to detail, the project successfully delivered a modern, architecturally distinctive home that combines innovative design, premium finishes, and sustainable building technologies.
